One of my favourite things about running is the bling at the finish line – ‘serious’ runners may scoff that the experience is reward enough, but really it’s not – bring on the medals!
Medals earned on the road to the Brighton Marathon:
1) Longleat 10km 2) Brighton Half Marathon 3) Llanelli Half Marathon 4) Finchley 20 15 mile
The Biggie! – Brighton Marathon Medal:
Post-Marathon Medals:
Brighton Heroes Run (5km)
British Heart Foundation Canary Wharf 5km
South Downs Marathon Relay

Gotta love the race bling!
The bling is one my favourite parts!
It used to be mine too! You have some nice ones, it’s in England? Here they are starting to skimp on swag and bling.
But a lot of trail races I do, they don’t even give medals, just t-shirts. Every once in a while I do one just for the medal!!
The bling is totally my favourite part – I have been known to veto one race for another purely because one said ‘finishers certificate’ and the other said ‘finishers medal’!! Love seeing your bling displayed like this – awesome!
There is one race on my 2013 schedule that I haven’t confirmed yet because they don’t give medals! It’s all about the bling
I fully understand this!
I love the Longleat medal, but as a teacher it would be sooooo much rushing around (and expensive for just a weekend), so it cannot be mine.
The Longleat Medal is my favourite, I think your Edinburgh medal was pretty special though
‘Special’. Hmmm. Quite.
