I think my biggest problems are not keeping my hands/elbows low enough, not running in an optimal stride (working on it!) and probably leaning to little forward (from the ankle on). But my shoulders that used to feel really heavy from pulling them up I can now keep low.
It’s great that you’ve fixed the postural issue already! I always have issues with my shoulders creeping upwards but that is something that I have a problem with anyway because I spend so many hours working at a computer! Trying to fix it with Pilates and posture exercises but I’m having to unlearn the last 5 years!
Whatever you need to unlearn will be SO much harder than the processes of learning it. Wrong knowledge for studying, posture, habits.. whatever it is.
I have trouble keeping my shoulders relaxed with EVERYTHING I do. I don’t run, but in pilates I am constantly getting told that I do this. Plus, my chiropractor and awful posture can also vouch for this. Good luck with fixing this issue, it’s so hard! I totally understand.
It’s almost like “relaxing” my shoulders to get them into a normal position is harder work than leaving them all tense and raised! I’m always getting told off about it, and my boyfriend is a chiropractor so I get it outside appointments too! Let’s hope we can fix it
I think I need to see a video of myself running to figure out what I need to work on. I think Si’m ok but I’m probably not
